I have now received the soundtrack from Vlad and will incorporate it into the final cut. Once the film is finished all paying participants from this board will receive a DVD which they may use for their showreels.

Are we going to get a look at a quicktime or mpeg to make comments on the edit? Surely it can't hurt to have some completely impartial comments from people who didn't work on the shoot. I've been following this thread but wasn't available for the shoot but I'd love to see how you all got on.

Or how about some stills from the shoot?

Sounds like it all went swimmingly anyway.

Just a quick update:

My Avid is currently broken and awaiting spares. As soon as it is working I will finish this project, hopefully in time to submit it to the MediaGuardian TV Festival in Edinburgh.

The person supposed to edit this dropped out without giving reasons. I have prepared a shotlist and just need to put it together. A paid shot got in the way but I will hopefully have something by the end of October latest.

Rob (who is doing the music and was formerly known as Vlad the Impaler) has asked me to give him a couple of days as he wishes to redo the soundtrack (which should be with me in a week's time or so).

As the paid shot is now cleared this should now be wrapped up pretty soon. Bear with us, please.

I am working on a new global news contract which is taking most of my time at the moment. Rob still hasn't supplied the new soundtrack so I assume that he is snowed under as well.

I will put my efforts into getting this thing done before the end of the year latest, especially since the actors are now asking about it as well. Rob, can you please let me know the state of the soundtrack?
